Last night I dreamed
I was in heaven
but you weren"t there
and I was crying like a baby
looking for you everywhere

어젯밤
천국에 있는 꿈을 꾸었지요.
하지만 그대 모습을 볼수 없었기에
그대를 찾아 온곳을 찾아 헤매이며
어린 아이 처럼 울고 말았습니다.

And I saw waterfalls of life
stars that didn"t need a night
somehow heaven wasn"t right
without you

생명에 넘치는 폭포들과
밤이 필요없는 별들을 보았지만
그대없는 천국은 아무 의미가
없습니다.

마주치는 사람마다 모든 슬픔이
사라져 미소짓고 있었지만
내 속에는 외로움이 가득해
정처없이 방황했지요.

had been destroyed
forever cast into the vold
Heaven couldn"t be enjoyed

모든 죽음은 산산이 조각나
영원히 허공으로 사라져 버렸지만
그대 없이는 천국도
즐거울 수 없습니다.

나에겐 낙원이 될수 없습니다.

And an angle stood before me
and to my shame
I begged and pleaded her to send me
from when I came

천사가 내앞에 서 있었습니다.
부끄러웠지만
내가 온 곳으로 날 돌려 보내 달라고
간절히 애원했습니다.

Then all my sorrow flew away
when I heard the angle say
"If you left how could I stay
without you"

그리고, "그대가 떠나시면
그대없이 내가 어떻게 지낼 수가
있겠어요"라는 천사의 음성을 듣곤
내 모든 슬픔이 사라지게 되었지요
